Happy New Year everyone!

We do hope the New Year resolutions are going well! For all you business people, another resolution you should add to your list is to attend our networking event “Fall In Love With Total Star”, taking place on 9th February from 6pm at D’Fly in Cheltenham.

This is our first networking event of 2012 and as it is taking place just before Valentine’s Day it will be romantically themed, bringing local businesses together at one of the most romantic times of the year.

You will have the opportunity to not only meet and talk to fellow business people, you will get to meet some of our fantastic presenters and request some of your favourite songs.

Gloucestershire's Got Talent... The Final

The Picturedrome in Gloucester hosted the 2012 Gloucestershire's Got Talent contest and I was asked to do my "Dermot O'Leary" bit and compere the event!

The competition saw a huge amount of acts from all over the county entering to win £1000 and a one year promotional contract! Congratulations to 17 year old singer Abbie-Lea Drew who was crowned the winner, chosen by a panel of judges including industry inseders and even Bradley from S Club 7!

The Robin's Xmas Party 2011

In the lead up to the festive season I was invited to pop along to the Junior Robins Xmas Party at Ten Pin in Gloucester to catch up with Cheltenham's Town's youngest fans!

They all enjoyed a game of bowling alongside their football heroes and obviously, I couldn't help but grab a photo with some members of the Cheltenham Town squad.

In the lead up to Cheltenham Town getting drawn away at White Hart Lane to take on Tottenham Hotspur in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, here at Total Star we gave you the chance to win 4 tickets for the game!

Listeners successfully collected the numbers given out across the week at 8.15am with me during Breakfast. They then had to attend the Shrewsbury game at the Abbey Business stadium on Boxing day to collect the final number flashed up on the scoreboard before kick-off. One text was chosen from all those that text in the correct 6 digit code and they won the town's most sought after tickets!
