The Court of Appeal has rejected a claim from a former council head saying she has to pay towards her legal costs in a case against her employer.
Cheltenham Borough Council lost its civil claim that Christine Laird had to disclose health problems that affected her work in June last year.
They were ordered to pay £540,000 towards her legal costs, as well as their own legal bill.
Mrs. Laird now has to pay the est of her £800,000 bill - her and her husband have said they are disappointed by the judgement.
